Featherman to Address Le Conference de Montreal.

May 2, 2003: Inter-American Economic Council President Barry Featherman has been invited by the Organizers of Le Conference de Montreal and Focal (The Canadian Foundation for the Americas) to address this year's Montreal Conference. The broadbased theme for this year's program is "Innovating in an Uncertain World." Mr. Featherman's remarks will focus on the prospects for Economic Growth and Development for the Region and Future Scenarios. Other notable speakers at this year's program include the President of the InterAmerican Development Bank, Enrique Iglesias, OAS Secretary General, Cesar Gaviria, Mexico's Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez, the Secretary General of the OECD and the Secretary General of NATO. Mr. Featherman will travel to Montreal on Tuesday and deliver his remarks on Wednesday May 7, 2003.
